Hazeldown pupils watch a heart dissection

Year 6 pupils at Hazeldown Primary School have been working on a topic called ‘Blood and Heart’ and visited us today to watch a heart dissection. They came with lots of knowledge on the heart and were all very enthusiastic to see Mr Kain’s dissection of the big Ox heart.

Afterwards, they then had the opportunity to get hands-on with some lamb’s hearts. The students all got involved and really enjoyed themselves, coming away with lots of questions for us to answer!
