Medical Mavericks in action

Yesterday, our prospective medical students from Years 11 & 12 attended a Medical Mavericks event at South Devon College. Students took part in several fun and interactive medical procedures and tests covering: reflexes & hearing, oxygen & temperature, blood pressure & heart rate, using a stethoscope, keyhole surgery, experiencing pathology goggles, taking blood and trying on a HazMat Suit.

Students said that they really enjoyed attending and it had secured their aspirations to work in a medical field.
